Is it possible to ban the wearing of full-body swimming costumes in public swimming pools? This question was asked to Unia by several cities and municipalities, as well as by swimmers.

Unia questioned various organisations. On the basis of their arguments, Unia sees no valid reason to restrict the freedom to choose a full-body swimsuit (otherwise known as burkini). Unia concludes that, in the absence of a legal basis, this ban is contrary to anti-discrimination legislation.
